defense secretary and from admiral mullen -- you know, we believe, is what they're saying, is that forces on the ground, political force, will pressure qaddafi to goarks so they're coming short of saying they want his ouster but they're saying we're creating conditions on the ground that would ultimately push him out. how likely do you think that is to succeed? >> martha, let's let's look back at recent history. the no fly zone with saddam hussein went on for months if not years, same with bosnia. the bottom line is this, if we want to end this quickly we'll get qaddafi out of there by force if necessary. oits, he is very crafty, he's very foxy, he understands how to drag these things out. admiral mullen said in a recent statement that we've degraded his military to about 25 percent of its original 100 percent capability but it's still effective. he's not going to give up, he's going to keep going. we've got to do something if we want to end this quickly. martha: always great to get injure input, thank you very much. >> thank you. rick: on oik oik -- rick:
