recently, and holding is a backup a cell phone, the weather has gotten so rough that it's been knocking our satellite signal on and off throughout the night. something called rain fade where the clouds become so thick that instead of the microwave signal being able to go to space, hit the satellite, and then recue in new york, the clouds simply reflect it back to the earth and we don't get out. and so just as a backup, i have been holding this phone here which i was going to use to talk to you if we got knocked off the air but so far so good. back to you, greta. >> greta: jonathan, it's just getting started. you haven't hit the worst of it, not upon where you are; is that right? >> i'm sorry. could you say the question again? >> greta: this is just the beginning for north carolina. this is not the worst that north carolina is expected to receive? >> that's correct. we're probably not going to see the worst of the storm, the brunt of the storm, the eye until sometime tomorrow morning
