>> reporter: this woman, who wished to not be identified, says she found way to make some cash. she was supposed to receive packages in the mail. >> they told me it was clothing and diapers and gifts for children over in russia. >> reporter: she was instructed to ship the boxes to russia and told they were going to an orphanage. >> she checked the first couple packages, repackaged them and shipped those packages out. the other packages arrived. they told her, don't open those, just readdress them. >> reporter: then, a vendor from iowa, found one of the items shipped to the woman's address, was purchased with a stolen credit card. so, he called the ripon police department. >> i can tell you she was very surprised when the police came knocking at her door with a search warrant. >> reporter: when police here opened the boxes, this is what they found. military gear. police pants. gps units. boxes of vehicle tracking devices. night vision.
