did have cancer but it wasn't throat cancer, and he had a good reason for -- he admits to fibbing a little bit. he was promoting his wall street sequel movie and he was diagnosed with cancer, but it is actually cancer of the tongue. he talked to the doctor and couldn't stop in the middle of promotions and didn't want to answer a million of questions, tongue cancer might be worse, require moving jawbone, parts of the tongue, would he be able to talk again. the doctors suggested why don't we just tell them you have throat cancer and leave it at that. turns out, in fact, it was cancer of the tongue and not nearly as bad as it could have been. they removed the walnut-sized tumor and didn't have to take jawbone and he is doing fine. >> cancer free in 2011. >> yes, but it was not throat cancer but tongue cancer. >> interesting that would be the motivation behind the lie. >> he said it on a u.k. talk show called "this morning". we have been hearing a lot about robin thicke since the twerking incident with miley
