>> thank you, marci. a rare sight in parts of southern california slammed by a blast of wild weather. hail actually rained down on huntington beach, south of los angeles leaving the sand completely covered in white. kids not used to the wintry weather couldn't wait to go out and play but it didn't last long. the sun came out and melted everything. another winter storm is here bringing rain, snow and ice to 40 states from california to maine. >> hard to believe. accu-weather's justin povick is tracking it all for us. good morning to you. >> t.j. and reena, thanks and good morning. another winter storm on the way throughout the midwest and eventually getting to the northeast as well. this go around it is more of a mixture of sleet and freezing rain and snow at the onset. here's our time line on tuesday morning in to the mid ohio valley. later on tuesday in to central portions of the northeast we will see our heaviest snow amounts over the upper midwest this go around but the general 3 to 6 inches cutting right through the twin cities. t.j. and reena, back to you.
