then you had rahm emanuel and howard dean saying, you know what, we're not afraid of conservative democrats, we're not repulsed by moderate democrats. there was a bug push and guess what, they took over in 2006. three years later barack obama and a lot of liberal bloggers pushed these people very hard to vote against the interest of their district, they did, they lost. and so the question is, not i think about democrats in the old confederacy, it's about democrats in washington, d.c. you scorned the republicans as not being a big tent party. but the question is, you have a big enough ten to the let conservatives in? if you do, you can win in the south and you can win in the midwest. if you don't, if you listen to cable tv and internet bloggers and let that be your guide on what your national party is going to be, you will be the minority. it's simple. >> look at the former senator
