this permanent damage to his campaign? is he going to get out any time soon, or does he stay in it and push through this? what do you think? >> i think he's going to stay in and push through. i don't know that it's done permanent damage. susan's right. there are some over the course of the two debates that seemed really presidential and some weren't. >> what do you think, david, what does this do among the democratic field? >> well, i think talking about buttigieg, i think he was probably apologizing to some extent to the black community, trying to appear conciliatory. if he stays in it, maybe it hurts him down the road. coming out of the debates, you know, i think for castro it was really crucial for him to do well. he needed to raise money, and we've seen that he's done that. it will be interesting to see what he reports in two weeks when we're able to see the numbers. for o'rourke, i don't know that it was killer that he didn't do well. but definitely was a pretty big
