Developer Iliad has submitted the proposals to the city council, and said it hopes the 190-bed facility on Duke Street will help to continue the regeneration of Liverpool's Ropewalks district. The company, which is behind various residential and commercial building schemes across the North West over the last 35 years, said it will invest £30m in the development which has been designed by Tim Groom Architects.
