Discussion Of Solar Array Plan Continues Published on Wed, 04/21/2021 - 12:00am The Rockbridge County Planning Commission considered revisions to a plan to build a 40-acre solar array on a farm in Fairfield last Wednesday. This time around, the company, Dynamic Energy Solutions, hoped to address “visual concerns.” The array would be just across from Fairfield Elementary School, between Interstate 81 and U.S. 11. The farm is owned by James G. Alexander Jr. Pat Hastings, the director of project management for Dynamic Energy Solutions, showed sketches that included “a significant amount of landscaping” along Interstate 81, as well as along U.S. 11 and the northeast property line that borders a residential area.
