Rate payers have spent £6,000 in one month in clearing away dumped rubbish.
A total of 371 incidents of flytipping were reported in the district over October, November and December, members of the Performance Monitoring Panel were told.
Councillors were also told that the district had spent £3,000 in December 2019 on clearing away flytipping but this had doubled for the same month in 2020.
