A DOG was rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a rabbit hole in Ringwood. Toby, a 12-year-old Jack Russell, had to be dug out by firefighters from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service on Wednesday, February 10. Animal rescue advisor Dave Allen and firefighters from Ringwood were called to the incident in Gorley Road at around 5.30pm A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A 12-year-old Jack Russell, called Toby, had got stuck after running underground into a rabbit hole and could be heard barking for help. "Firefighters dug around the area until Toby was found and he was safely reunited with his owner."
