Doha Toastmasters Club takes part in tree-planting campaign

(MENAFN - Gulf Times) The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar joined hands with the Doha Toastmasters Club to plant trees on a road parallel to Doha Expressway, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) said in a tweet on Saturday.
This came as part of the Qatar Beautification and Our Kids Planting Trees campaign that aims to plant 1mn trees and is implemented by the committee in co-operation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
Doha Toastmasters Club president Akash Bhutada said, "We thank the committee for giving us opportunity to participate in this wonderful initiative to plant 1mn trees, which is a great cause towards building Qatar and achieving its vision under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir."
