Dow High School and Midland High School face-to-face (F2F) students will remain in remote learning through the end of the first semester, which is Thursday, Jan. 14, Midland Public Schools Superintendent Michael Sharrow announced in an email communique to MPS stakeholders late Friday afternoon. Dow High and Midland High F2F students will then return to in-school learning on Tuesday, Jan. 19, the first day of the second semester. Sharrow's message came about two hours after Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer had announced that high school students throughout the state would be allowed to return to in-school learning on Monday, Dec. 21, at the discretion of local school districts.
