Since it started, the DVBA’s program has covered more than $70,000 in local delivery costs for its members and means downtown businesses can offer free delivery to their customers without a cost to themselves. According to the DVBA, the pandemic meant few summer tourists and a significant reduction in office workers in downtown, which translated into a very difficult year for downtown retailers and restaurants. More information about the program can be found at dvba.ca/downtowndelivers. Read Related Topics
