DEREK BALDWIN jpg, BI Article content Downtown merchant Kyle Thomson opened his clothing store Wednesday — contrary to Ontario’s pandemic restrictions — and was swiftly met with a $750 fine from Belleville Police as well as public health order warning from Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health. As the paperwork was worked on by authorities inside Thomson’s Park Provisioners Barbershop & Haberdashery on Front Street shortly after opening at 11 a.m., dozens of shoppers gathered outside the store to show support.
