Downtown Saginaw has a new 3-story building and here is what’s going inside Updated Dec 22, 2020; Facebook Share SAGINAW, MI — Shaheen Development is constructing a new 3-story, mixed-use building in downtown Saginaw that will feature residential apartments and commercial space. Al Warr, director of development for Shaheen Development, said the first-floor commercial space will be a new full-service State Bank location. “State Bank’s commitment to Saginaw makes this major re-development on Washington Avenue possible,” he said. The upper two floors of the new development will house Goodridge Lofts, which will provide four new, one- and two-bedroom apartments. One-bedroom apartments start at $1,100 per month and two-bedroom apartments start at $1,275 per month. The apartments feature granite countertops, wood cabinetry, all appliances, high-efficiency furnace and air conditioning, walk-in closets, private surface parking lot, and all utilities except electricity.
