DPWH cites billions of pesos worth of finished projects in R

Completed were the construction, rehabilitation, improvement, and maintenance of 311.5 lane kilometers of national roads, 12 bridges, and 99 flood-control structures in Region 8 under 2020 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
This was announced by DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, citing Regional Office 8’s year-end report.
Regional Office 8 finished P6.5 billion worth of national road projects, P1.2 billion worth of bridge projects, and P3.3 billion worth of flood-control projects, the agency said.
DPWH also facilitated the completion of 328 Region 8 local infrastructure projects amounting to P3.9 billion. These are composed of multi-purpose and school buildings, local roads and bridges, flood control and drainage, and water systems.
