A 67-year-old truck driver has died after two road trains collided head-on north of Roma on the Carnarvon Highway on Friday night. The crash occurred near Gunnewin, 80km north of Roma, about 10.15pm. The two road trains were travelling in opposite directions when they collided, killing a 67-year-old man from Emerald, who was travelling north. The other driver was not physically injured in the crash.
