Stuart Dargue, 50, of Churchview in Newton Arlosh, appeared at Carlisle Magistrates Court on Thursday. He had previously denied a charge of speeding on the A595 Wigton Road in Carlisle. The court heard he was caught by a home office approved device driving his Ford at 38mph in a 30 zone. Dargue was found guilty, and fined £125. He was also ordered to pay costs of £625 and a victim surcharge of £34. His driving license was also endorsed with three penalty points.
