Driver indicted in drunken driving crash that killed man, injured several others Updated 8:55 AM; A Salem County grand jury has indicted a Penns Grove man in a crash that killed a Delaware resident and injured several others. David M. Thomas, 35, was allegedly drunk and speeding on Jan. 24, 2020, when his SUV struck the rear of another vehicle on Hook Road in Pennsville Township, then entered the oncoming lane of traffic and collided head-on with a car driven by Wayne J. Corbin, 70, of Wilmington, Delaware, according to police. Corbin died of his injuries, while three of his passengers were hospitalized. The driver of the other vehicle struck by Thomas was also injured.
