Police carried out a speed check outside Dunbar Primary School’s John Muir Campus following concerns. The check was carried out on Countess Road, as well as neighbouring Summerfield Road, which is also home to Dunbar Grammar School. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “It was noted that the area was extremely busy with vehicles, children and their respective parents/ guardians. "Whilst the majority of motorists appeared to be complying with the 20mph speed limit, four drivers were spoken with and warned in line with the Lord Advocate’s guidelines.”
