For the last few months, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, has been visiting vaccine clinics across the U.K. to thank medical workers and volunteers for their efforts, but she was seemingly sure to never get too close to one part of the vaccination process. Last month, she told a crowd at a south London clinic that she has a long-standing fear of needles, which she only overcame to get her own jab in January by closing her eyes. On Wednesday, she confronted that fear in a slightly less direct way when she helped a doctor prepare vaccines at the Lordship Lane primary care center in Tottenham.
