Duck Donuts announced its Toco Hills, Georgia donut shop and its products received Kosher Certification by Atlanta Kashruth Commission (AKC), the largest kosher supervision agency in the Southeast. The certification verifies its ingredients, donut shop and actual production of its menu items have no trace of non-kosher substances. “The decision was made to transition the Toco Hills location to a kosher donut shop after simply responding to the request from those in our local community who have food restrictions for religious reasons,” says André Walters, Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta franchise owner. “Now we’ve expanded the opportunity to delight our guests who follow kosher principles with our warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts, and our Kosher Certification proves that our product and operations maintain high quality standards.”
