Duluth man arrested in connection to 3-year-old's death
Formal charges against the man are pending.

A 30-year-old Duluth man has been arrested in connection to the death of a 3-year-old child.
In a news release, the Duluth Police Department says they took the 30-year-old man into custody on Thursday, Dec. 17. He is awaiting formal charges by the St. Louis County Attorney's Office. 
The arrest came a few days after the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office ruled the child's death a homicide. 
According to the release, Duluth police officers responded to a report of an unresponsive child on the 4700 block of East Colorado Street at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 4.
