Officers have been trying to connect with landlords of properties throughout Dumbarton’s High street which have fallen into a state of disrepair, about potential economic development opportunities. During a meeting of the authority’s infrastructure, regeneration and economic development committee last week, councillors were told that these attempts were proving a challenge because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
