Police said the crash took place at the intersection of Eden Valley Road and Peake Mountain Road. Dorian J. Adamson, 76, of Harrisonburg, died at the scene. Adamson was headed east on Peake Mountain Road and driving a 2002 Toyota Camry when she pulled into the path of a 1994 Mack dump truck, police said. The Toyota was hit on the driver's side.
