A DUNFERMLINE man returned to a house armed with a “meat cleaver” after an earlier row. Ross Hamilton struck a fence with the weapon to “warn people off” when he went back to retrieve his belongings. He had also been involved in a previous offence in which he brandished a garden fork. At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, 37-year-old Hamilton, of Corbett Place, appeared for sentencing for the two incidents. He admitted that on March 23 last year, at Thane Place, he struck a fence repeatedly with a machete. He admitted previously that on September 26, 2019, at Don Road, he shouted, swore, brandished a garden fork and hoe and challenged people to fight.
