In arizona a crowd of trump fans gathered to protest the ongoing vote count there that race is neck and neck though several news outlets have reported joe biden has flipped this battleground state trump has made unfounded allegations of voter fraud and on wednesday accused democrats of trying to steal the election. So lets have a look now at where we are in this election our figures are showing that biden currently has an edge 264. 00 electoral votes to president Donald Trumps 214. 00 which puts joe biden just 6 f electoral votes shy of the magic 270 he would need to win the presidency now how did he get there all partly its michigan accounting is done in that state and by that has won it with its 16 electoral votes it was a very close margin but it does put joe biden on top with the help of neighboring state wisconsin our figures there indicate joe biden won that state and its 10 electoral votes now its a little less certain out west in nevada that brings us over there to where exactly 6 electoral votes could be waiting for joe biden to put him over the edge if he holds onto his lead a very narrow one in the counting is still going on but if nevada can go to biden he will become the next president of the United States georgia 16 electoral votes on the table big state an important one for donald trump whos leading the way there but that margin is narrowing as more votes are coming in from democratic areas the Trump Campaign is even filed a lawsuit alleging that ineligible late absentee ballots may have been added to the count but we are waiting to see the evidence for that and out in arizona again data shows that biden has taken it but it is a very tight race counting is still ongoing it could change at any time and that goes for the entire country a lot of counting still going on the path to victory for donald trump has narrowed significantly but it is still either mans election to win. Ox is being taken away or polling places being consolidated are shut down and this is a form of Voter Suppression the United States definitely has the infrastructure to have a more streamlined process but not everybody has the will to do that all right lets go to hold it there for a 2nd because joe biden did speak earlier this evening that he wouldnt of course declare victory but he kind of came close to it lets have a quick listen to what he said about the race as it currently stands and now after a long night of county its clear that were when you know states to reach 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency im not here declare that weve won but i am here to report the count is finished we believe we will be the winners of all the votes counted we have won wisconsin by 20000 virt votes virtually the same margin of President Trump won that state 4 years ago in michigan we lead by over 35000 votes and its growing a substantially bigger margin and President Trump won michigan in 2016 michigan will complete his votes maybe as early as the day and i feel very good about pennsylvania virtually all the remaining ballots to be counted were cast by mail and weve been winning 78 percent of the vote by mail in pennsylvania we flipped arizona and the 2nd district of nebraska of special significance to me is that weve won with the majority of the American People and every indication is that that majority will grow of the popular vote lead of nearly 3000000 votes. And every indication is that will grow as well oh indeed senator harris and i are on track to win more votes than any ticket in the history of this country ever won the presidency and vice presidency over 70000000 votes joe biden theyre feeling cautiously optimistic me shallow we hear joe biden you know going through all the numbers he might have a technical win and its a winner take all system of course but i think democrats were hoping for more especially what the polls were showing thats not what happened so what did. Yes well the polls were wrong again as they were in 2016 and the pollsters this year says they fixed a lot of those issues one of them was not really discriminating enough between voters with higher levels of education and with that with and without call disagrees now that doesnt seem to have been enough does it and clearly when it when we look at florida just one example there was a lot of talk about the let tino vote donald trump clearly over the years put in the work and convinced many that demo being democrat means being a socialist and that something they didnt want and thats how he managed to secure a very important power base that kept florida safety for him so yes the pollsters got it wrong and it shows that maybe polling is clearly in a deep crisis here in the United States which yes of becoming more and more divided but not just binary but also within individual communities thats such a good point lectures are so much more than just numbers and data but there are humans behind those votes and those numbers and weve been talking to some of them in joe bidens home state of delaware so lets have a quick listen what they had to say just flew anxious to find out who won i would say as nervous as a lot of people.
