Well i wouldnt say germany is sub contracting its defense to the United States germany is part of a multilateral Defense Alliance nato and it has all of its forces integrated within they tow the United States is in europe in part to deter russia and to fulfill natos most important obligations but its also there to help strengthen the troops of allied forces to train with them to ensure that they are a cohesive fighting force if there is ever a need for them to to deal with hostilities so germany is not relying on the United States to provide for all of its defense instead it is working alongside the United States in a symbiotic relationship thats been pretty beneficial to both sides for you know the last several decades in august of my palm pilot a secular state assigned to deal with polands to redeploy some u.
