Share: E Ink Holdings, "E Ink" (8069.TW), the leading innovator of electronic ink technology, announced today that they have signed a joint development agreement (JDA) with MICROVIEW Electronics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. for the development and sale of ePaper modules for retail shelf labels, healthcare, wearables and various IoT applications. E Ink will provide ePaper films to MICROVIEW, who will be authorized to manufacture and sell ePaper display modules, and E Ink will support MICROVIEW Electronics in the development and production of those modules. MICROVIEW Electronics will leverage their strong customer base and customer support capabilities to further develop and promote ePaper applications, including Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL), smart healthcare wearables and smart home devices.
