Patient gets dose of coronavirus vaccine at Richland Hospital RICHLAND CENTER (WKOW) -- Some areas struggle with access to the coronavirus vaccine, but one rural county in southern Wisconsin is leading the way with its vaccine rollout. "It's just kind of a testament to the work that those folks have put in," said Lyle Kratochwill, emergency management coordinator for Richland Hospital. Kratochwill has led the hospital's vaccination plans, working closely with public health officials to get Richland County to almost 22 percent vaccinated, as of Wednesday. DHS data shows only one community in southern Wisconsin has a better rate: neighboring Iowa County.
