A snow scene. A WEATHER warning is to remain in place across East Lancashire today as the cold snap is set to bring more snow and ice. Drivers have been urged to stay off the roads as heavy snow fell in some parts of the country and temperatures were forecast to plunge as low as -10C in western Scotland. With more cold weather in store on Tuesday, the Met Office has issued a yellow warning of snow and ice for much of England – including Blackburn, Burnley, Hyndburn, Rossendale, the Ribble Valley and Pendle. It is to stay in place until at least 10am this morning.
