An Eastern Shore lottery player became a millionaire thanks to a scratch-off Maryland Lottery ticket.
The Lucky 777 ticket was purchased at Springdale Food Mart, 5703 Mount Holly Road, in East New Market in Dorchester County.
In all, 29 Maryland Lottery players across the state won or claimed prizes of $10,000 or more, and the lottery paid a total of nearly $33.4 million in prizes in the seven days ending May 16.
