The Colonial pipeline shut down because of a ransomware attack is starting to wreak havoc in the southeast where gas station owners have fewer alternative sources for gasoline.

Colonial Pipeline Co. Chief Executive Officer Joseph Blount warned state officials in a private meeting Monday that supply shortages could occur even as it plans to reopen the line later this week, reports Bloomberg.
