Article content Edmontonians are being urged this weekend to count birds around town as part of a global campaign to track the number of various species around the world. The National Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is calling on Canadians to spend 15 minutes over the Family Day weekend taking part in the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, National Audubon Society and Birds Canada’s Great Backyard Bird Count. Edmontonians are asked to count the birds they see over a quarter of an hour on one or more days from Friday to Monday and upload their numbers online. We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
