BENIN CITY – The Edo State Coordinator, Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), Dr. Tom Obaseki, has received the Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) data validation team in Benin City, with an assurance that government and management staff of the project would provide the team the needed support. According to him, the mission of the NEWMAP data validation team was clear and the State Project Monitoring Unit (SPMU) was fully ready to assist by providing the necessary documentation that has taken place in the last nine years of the project and as well, take the team on the required field visits for an on-the-spot project inspection.
