ELECTRO -MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER Metals USA – Gregor Technologies Division is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Torrington, CT. Metals USA is a solid, growth oriented aluminum / stainless steel distribution center servicing the defense, aerospace and fabrication industries. Responsibilities: Must be able to read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products. Assembles parts using automatic wire cutters, crimping machine or grinding machines. Assembles motors, pumps or compressors using press, fixtures, pneumatic guns or hand tools. Performs end-of-line tests using computer-based equipment. Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to quality standards, Completes and documents production and quality paperwork, follows shop system data collection procedures and follows inspection procedures on a daily basis. Requirements: Must possess 3-5 years of mechanical assembly experience with mechanical aptitude and math skills. Must be able to utilize Wire Harness Installation. Must have the ability to read & interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
