Elephant Census: Synchronized elephant census covers 3.5 lak

The three-day synchronized elephant census in Tamil Nadu covered around 3,50,000 hectare of forest area across 26 forest divisions. The census involved 1,836 forest staff and 342 volunteers using various methods to assess the elephant population.
