Sales volume for Tesla’s Model S & X has been going down since the company introduced the Model 3 & Y. Tesla’s newest vehicles on top of being cheaper were also introduced with some features which are better than their larger brethren. One major example is while the Model S and X were capped at 150KW max charging the Model 3 & Y were able to charge at a max 250KW rate. Tesla has currently brought the Model S & X to the same 250KW max charging however, due to the larger size of the S & X, their charging time when calculated in miles per hour still lags behind the 3 & Y.
