Smells coming from the Walleys Quarry landfill continue to be above the 'annoyance' levels according to the most up-to-date data from the Environment Agency (EA).
The EA and Public Health England have released air quality reports for April from four monitoring stations around the Silverdale area - in Silverdale Road, Galingale View, Silverdale Cemetery and Newcastle Community fire station.
