EOC: Three new local virus cases : vimarsana.com

KETCHIKAN (KDN) – Three new positive COVID-19 test results — all involving individuals identified as a close contact of a known positive — were recorded Thursday in Ketchikan by the local Emergency Operations Center.
One individual also was admitted to the COVID-19 unit at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center on Thursday, according to the Thursday EOC press release.
Two of the cases recorded on Thursday involved asymptomatic individuals, while the third case involved a symptomatic person.
"One contact investigation remains ongoing," the release read. "During the contact investigation, Public Health will coordinate with the positive person to reach out to anyone who may be a close contact and instruct them to quarantine."
