Evangelical nonprofit to open retail store in downtown Holla

That money was used to launch the political lobbying firm Family Research Council, and helped transform Focus on the Family from a small organization into a multimedia empire.
The bookshop and gift store, called Family Central, will open at 215 Central Ave. in September. The building is owner by Lumir LLC, the Prince family's real estate operation in Holland. It was previously a temporary home for Holland Clock Co. Before that, it housed West Michigan Bike and Fitness.
“Focus on the Family is excited to open our newest retail store, Family Central, in Holland this fall," said President and CEO Jim Daly. "This is the first time we’ve expanded our retail services outside of our headquarters in Colorado Springs.
