Filming is currently underway for the sixth and final season of the gangster television show. Last week, filming took place at Bacup in Rossendale and a traditional gypsy camp, complete with wagons and other vehicles were set up in Lee Quarry. Filming also took place in Bolton town centre for three days. Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy, was seen running out of the former Bolton Magistrates Court, down the steps on to the Crescent, which has been transformed into a period street scene with vintage cars parked up. Despite being set in the West Midland city of Birmingham, a lot of filming has taken place right on our doorsteps.
