The Etowah County Extension Office and The Chamber of Gadsden & Etowah County will partner in April to host a series of Small Business Workshops. The workshops are a four-part series led by Rick Zapata of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and co-hosted by The Chamber. The workshops will be held by Zoom video conference, but a hybrid option to attend the sessions in person at the Etowah County Extension Office is available. The sessions will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 6, 8, 13 and 15. Together, these workshops will help participants develop a full-fledged business plan. • Session 1: Starting a Business from Scratch — Selecting a product or service, business formation, business licenses, risk management.
