It was February 28 when a meteorite fell on a driveway in the UK. This meteorite is being described as extremely rare by scientists and will be the target of research to get new insights into the early history of our solar system and life on Earth
According to a
press release by the Natural History Museum in London, the fragments of the space rock were discovered on a driveway in the Cotswolds, a rural area of south-central England. Museum scientists have managed to recover almost 300g of a very rare meteorite, known as a carbonaceous chondrite, from the small Gloucestershire town of Winchcomb.
