New Delhi: Facebook today said it "aims to comply" with the government's new rules to regulate content but indicated that it wants to discuss "issues which need more engagement". Centre's deadline for compliance with the new rules featuring a code of ethics and a three-tier grievance redressal framework ends today. "We aim to comply with the provisions of the IT rules and continue to discuss a few of the issues which need more engagement with the government," a Facebook spokesperson said. "Pursuant to the IT Rules, we are working to implement operational processes and improve efficiencies. Facebook remains committed to people's ability to freely and safely express themselves on our platform," added the statement.
