The Allegheny County fire marshal is investigating the cause of a blaze that damaged the Governors Ridge Apartments along Highlands Place in Ross Township on Sunday. The fire displaced a family living in one of the units, according to authorities.

A fire at a Ross Township apartment complex Sunday evening was quickly extinguished, but the blaze caused enough damage to displace a family living in one of the units, according to authorities.
The fire at the Governor’s Ridge Apartments along Highlands Place was reported shortly before 7 p.m. on Sunday, according to an Allegheny County 911 dispatcher.
