Family firm wins contract to build first phase of Gloucester’s new £85 million The Forum Phase one of an £85 million project to transform the centre of Gloucester has been awarded to a family firm from the city, with work due to start in June 2021. Work is due to begin on 19 apartments and 5,000 square metres of retail space around King’s Square in Gloucester, after a family-run building firm EG Carter from the city secured the contract to go ahead.
