Faribault Police Investigating Fentanyl Overdose Deaths
The Faribualt Police Department and Cannon River Drug and Violent Offender Task Force are investigating two Fentenyl overdose deaths in Faribault.
In a joint news release from Faribault Police Chief Andy Bohlen and CRDVO Task Force Commander Paul LaRoche authorities are asking for the public's assistance in their investigation.
The news release says;
"On Saturday, January 9, 2021, the Faribault Police Department responded to a residence in the 200 block of 2nd Street NE for two reported deceased persons. The reporting party stated she came to the residence to pick up her child, and upon entering the residence found a male and female deceased on the floor. She exited the residence with her child and called police. Initial investigation indicates the two died from a narcotics overdose."
