Maria from your standpoint, what do you think took place here. Clearly we do have an act of terrorism. That is ongoing right now. We not only determined, but were other people involved not just the shooter, but who is supplying the money, financing this activity, was this something from overseas or was it based on some local event because from numerous groups, why did this person do this. How you get to it as a forensic study on his electronic equipment. Electronic footprints on cell phones in the female is going to be key to this investigation. Every Single Person to get every piece of Information Available to find out if theres any other person he may have been affiliated with, who may be planning of their event for down the road. If he was looking at the audience, it wouldve been his immediate left, sitting there for over a, heard some initial shot. I looked up in the sky. And then there was really dear he. He kind of hesitated in his song. He paused and there was silence. I knew he was worried. The shots just came out of nowhere. What really blazed in my mind is seeing jason aldean drop his guitar and sprint flaky sprinted. At that moment i knew this was trouble. I started trying to get up to the ideal. That is when the shooting was clearly an Assault Rifle, Something Like out of a war. For that round tied to have been at least 20 seconds. I am not kidding you. It went on and on. I was sitting backstage on the aluminum part of a bleacher. The tragic heard about it is a lot of folks didnt realize the shooting was happening and there were still frozen in time. I was trying to get people to get down. They didnt know what was going on. Go ahead. Maria it sounded like he changed magazines were reloaded several times. He clearly reloaded several times. The first round went on forever. Im not kidding you. Im not just saying that because it seemed longer than it was because i thought i was going to get killed. That guy mustve had a major load of magazines because it went on for at least 20 seconds. What happened was a gap, that mustve been reloading. I sprinted down the stairs and there was the guide outside the door that was under a bleacher indicates people in fear because we are now in the line of fire, going north or the luxury hotel. I was in the line of fire. So we were in this little room. When i got in there, there were six young women, like maybe 21. They were crying. I was trying to calm them down. I felt like it was going to be orlando because we were all in this room. The shooter could be right down the street. Is he going to come in this or that we are done, our life is over . We were then waiting for the next round of shot to add. I peeked out the door. What should we do . A split decision. Stay here or iran . Maria did you see anyone who was shot at that point. These victims have other peoples blood all over their bodies. I saw two people shot. They were not bad, but they were clearly shot and bleeding in that room, the little small room we were in until the next round of shots began. That is when we had to make a split decision. A lot goes through your mind. You are wondering, do i want to die sitting in this room. People can monday morning quarterback and say hes in a room shooting. When you are in the middle of it maria how did you ultimately get to safety . Thats a great question. We started running north. We were running away from the mandalay bay. Again, it was right on las vegas boulevard. We see an area where theres only one area you can ask it. 100 people trying to get through this little space. It was surreal because everybody had to calm down, but everyone was screaming and yelling and crying. Were all wondering if we will get shot in the back of the head. Theres a big opening at the end where we could run out. Maria youve knew it was a shooter in you and your were coming from somewhere. Are you kidding me . I could feel the shots. It was like deafening. Im not kidding you. My heart is still propagating. It felt like a war. When you are in the middle of it, you are completely helpless. You dont know where to go.
